Methodology

This analysis was built from two comprehensive Kaggle datasets covering every UK and Irish horse race from 1990 to April 2026 — over 1.8 million individual runner records with 37+ columns each. We extracted all Grand National results, cross-referenced with 187 years of winner data, and enriched with tipster predictions, forum sentiment, breeding analysis, and esoteric factors. Each of the 34 runners in today's field was scored across 7 analytical dimensions and 52 individual variables using a weighted composite model.

Cross-dimensional synthesis combining all 6 analytical stages into a unified prediction with confidence levels.

Gerri Colombe scores highest on composite (85/100) — perfect Aintree record, elite form, zero tipster support = maximum value

I Am Maximus is the best horse in the field but poor value at 9/1 with top weight

Imperial Saint is the longshot bomb — 50/1 with 60% Aintree strike rate and featherweight

Iroko and Grangeclare West complete the top 5 with strong all-round profiles

The model recommends each-way strategies focused on Gerri Colombe and Imperial Saint
